What’s the difference between friction feeder and vacuum feeder?

If you want to know the difference between friction feeder and vacuum feeder, firstly you need to know what is friction feeder and what is vacuum feeder. Friction feeder adopts friction principle, friction belt provide power to drive the product feeding; while vacuum feeder adopts suction cup catching to realize feeding and transport. Here I would like to talk about the friction feeder’s feature: 1. Simple structure, easy on operation; 2. Speed fast, high efficiency; 3. Low cost, commercial; 4. Large availability. All these four is its advantage. Its disadvantage is following: 1. Not so stable, easy to double feed and product jam; 2. Product in feeding part not so much at one time, which requires people to make up; 3. Do scratch on product surface; 4. Not easy to realize feeding step by step.

Vacuum feeder’s feature: 1. can load a lot of products at one time; 2. No scratch on the product surface; 3. Suit for soft thin & light product as well as the product with static electricity. 4. Almost no double sheet feeding, stable. Disadvantage is that 1. Low speed, low efficiency; 2. Costly; 3. Structure is a little complex, high technology; 4. Breathable product is not available. Feeder is normal product and it has product feature. The price is related with material, labor cost, management, sales channel etc. elements.
